Our school will be hosting their first dance of the year on Thursday, October 30th from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm. For the first time, this will be a sign-in dance, meaning that students will be able to invite one (1) friend from another middle school to come to the dance. A sign-up table will be placed in the lobby outside the cafeteria on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Students will have to include the full name of their friend, along with their school and grade.

A vaccination clinic will take place again this year for all grade 7 Girls and Boys.   (HPV for grade 7 girls only and the Tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis for both boys and girls). 

 

Girls will receive 2 consents forms and letters and boys 1 consent form and letter. Please have these consent forms returned to the school by the end of next week (Friday, October 24).

 

The first vaccination clinic will take place the morning of Friday, November 7th.

Tuesday, November 4th - 9:30 am - 3:45 pm

Wednesday, November 5th - 9:30 am - 8:00 pm

Thursday, November 6th - 9:30 am - 8:00 pm

Friday, November 7th - 9:30 am - 1:00 pm

During the week of November 3rd, your child will be visiting the Scholastic Book Fair with their class.  They are able to purchase books at this time if they wish. 

A reminder to grade 8 families whose child would like to attend the 2015 Ottawa Education Excursion of the MUST ATTEND meetings this week. 

Interested students must attend ONE of the meetings with a parent/guardian or adult representative.

It is NOT necessary to attend both meetings.

Meetings are Tuesday, October 21st and Wednesday, October 22nd.

Meetings begin at 6:30 pm and take place in the school's theatre.

Students are to bring their completed coloured forms from the application package that was passed out last week.
