Once again in September, 11-12 year-old girls from the Colegio Marymount in Bogotá, Colombia will be greeted by their host families and NBISP staff at the Greater Moncton International Airport. They will be  in New Brunswick for an eight week immersion program with the New Brunswick International Student program (NBISP) through Colombian partner agent, Study Union Colombia.

Dear Parents\Guardians of Grade 8 Students,

Planning for the annual Luau event for Grade 8 students is in high gear and set to take place June 18th.  Information will be send home shortly with details on the day and night’s planned activities.  The Friends of NMS along with NMS Grade 8 teachers will hosting the annual dance and games night that evening.  More information will be posted in the upcoming days.


  • The City of Fredericton's Youth Action Team (YAT) is conducting a survey called "Fredericton: From a Youth's Perspective; A Community Youth Survey"
  • The survey's goal is to concretely collect information directly from youth, with an emphasis on the topics of Health/Wellness, Spaces/Environment, Decision making, Communication, and Programs/Opportunities.

We will have a Final Parent Meeting on Monday June 1 at 7:15pm. We will go over any final details/information about the trip. Thanks

  • Next Thursday (May 28th) is our Annual Northside Move-a-Thon
  • On this day, over 1300 teachers and students will be walking, jogging, or running as many laps as possible on our outdoor track. Students will also get a chance to participate in para-activities.
  • We are looking for volunteers to assist with the day.
