Ottawa families are reminded of the ‘must-attend’ parent & student meeting in the school theatre this Wednesday evening (June 5).  Ottawa students are to have a parent or adult guardian accompany them, and attendance will be taken.  The meeting begins at 6 pm and should be over by 7:30.  Doors will open at 5:45 to assist in processing families.

ü  All school rules apply (clothing rule is relaxed on this day as we are going to the beach).

Our annual Sports Awards will be held Wednesday, June 12th at 1 pm in the theatre.  All athletes, coaches and parents are welcome to attend!

The Grade 8 Provincial Math Assessment will be written on Tuesday, June 4th and Wednesday, June 5th. The assessment is written at the beginning of the morning so please ensure your child arrives on time, well rested, and with a good breakfast.

This is a last call to order your 2012-2013 NMS Yearbook.  All orders must be in tomorrow. After tomorrow, you must contact Harvey Studio directly to order your book.

On Wednesday June 19th, the Grade 8 Luau will be held.  This is a day of festivities organized by the school and Friends of NMS to celebrate your child’s middle school years.  The day will start with various planned activities, a barbecue lunch at 11:00, departure to Killarney Lake at 11:30 and return to the school at 2:00.  Grade 8 students
