This Thursday, June 14th will be the last day for students to have order forms in for yearbooks.  Extra forms are available at the office.

This is to advise that there is a change in the school calender.  The last day for students is now Thursday, June 21st, which will be a full day.  There will be no school on Friday, June 22nd.

 Our Grade 8 Luau is fast approaching.  With the help of our parent volunteers we can make this a special send-off.

Please be advised that all grade 8 students will be writing the Provincial Math Assessment on Tuesday and Wednesday morning startign at 8:30 a.m.  This is a required assessment for graduation from high school.  Please make sure that you have your child in attendance tomorrow and Wednesday for this pupose.  If you have any questions, pleaae contact the school at 453-5436.

This summer the Fredericton Region Museum will be having children's programs every Tuesday afternoon for children ages 5-12. Program topics will include: All About Trains! Hop into History with the Coleman Frog! The War of 1812 Sports & Games! The American Civil War Aboriginal Traditions Life in the Trenches La vie acadienne A History of Art! and more.

Roxanne Bennett is offering a St. John Ambulance Babysitting course at St. Theresa's on Saturday, June 9th from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.  This course is open to all youth 11 years and up.  Cost is $40.00, cheques can be made payable to St. John Ambulance.  Course fee can be paid on the day of the class, but participants must be registered in advance.

 

As we near the end of the school year, the classes are getting organized for their end of year field trips to the Bucket Club.  The grade 6 students will go on the 15th of June with the grade 8's on the 18th and the grade 7's on the 20th.  All students shoul dhav ebrought home permission slips by now for these trips.  Please make sure you send your slip and payment back to the homeroom teachers as soon as possible.  If this is a financial hardship, please notify the school at 453-5436.

The annual Grade 8 class photo had to be postponed from yesterday due to weather.  It will now be taken on Friday at 1:15pm. This is a special photo for grade 8 students as it will be in the yearbook as well as hang on the walls of NMS on our very own Memory Lane.  We encourage your students to be here for this photo.
