Students in all 5 classes have been working very hard on their French Speech. All speeches are due on Monday as we will begin presentations on that day. The students will have the remainder of this week to complete any work - most of the students are practicing their speech and working on memorizing it.

January 17th – 20th - We begin working on their Unit in our French Resource.

January 23rd – Students must have their topic chosen.
January 23rd and 24th – Students begin working on their plan.
January 25th – Research Period for Students.
January 26th – Work Period – By the end of the period, students must have their Plan and their Introduction of their speech completed.
January 27th – Work Period – Students are working on the plan for the body of their speech.
January 30th – February 3rd - Work Period for Students. Students are to be working on the body and the conclusion portion of their speech. Also, during this week, I will be modeling grammar lessons in conjunction with the preparation of their speech.
February 6th – 10th – We return to working on their Unit in our French Resource.

February 13th, 14th, 15th – Revising and Editing of their speech during class time.
February 16th and 17th - Memorizing of their speech during class time.
February 20th – 24th – Students present their speech to the class.
February 27th – March 2 - We return to working on their Unit in our French Resource.

March 13th – Students who have been selected from the classroom competition will present their speech in the theatre with the other students in Grade 7 that have also been selected.
Parents are invited to our Francophonie Fair tomorrow from 8:30 - 10:00. Projects will be displayed in the lobby and cafeteria. We hope to see you tomorrow!
Students will begin presenting their projects (La Francophonie) tomorrow during class. The Showcase for Parents will be next Tuesday during Periods 1 and 2 in the cafeteria. I will re-send another e-mail to all parents towards the end of the week.
All students will have 1 final class to work on their project "La Francophonie". All presentations will begin on Tuesday morning. Parents, please refer to the e-mail that was sent home this week regarding the school wide fair that will occur on December 20th. Also, please be advised that I sent a paper copy home with all students today should they not have received it via e-mail earlier this week.
All students myst have their Rough Copy portion of their Project (La Francophonie) completed by the end of the day tomorrow. Next week, the students must have all of the necessary materials in class to work on their Good Copy. Presentations will begin on December 12th through to the 16th.
All Grade 7 FILA classes were given a description and a timeline of the Project that was introduced in today's class (La Francophonie). All parents were also sent an e-mail with the same information. Please conatact me should you have any questions or concerns.
Any classes that did not complete the reading activity from the Team Shared Folder must complete it for homework so that it can be handed in during tomorrow's class. This will be marked :)
