Winter Up-date
Our winter rehearsals are on going as the music dept. prepares for the spring festivals and competitions.

Fire Place Draw
The draw for our Electric Fireplace will take place on Monday, December 20th. All music students are required to bring in their sales money and the tickets which will be put in for the draw.

Christmas Concert Update
Due to Tuesday's storm day our Tuesday concert is cancelled. Our concert on Thursday will go on as planned.

Friday, December 10, 2010
More Christmas Concerts
All music students have two more concerts:

Tuesday, December 14
Band students are to come to the music room following morning homeroom where they will set up the theater for the concert and warm up.
Guitar students come to the music department, Practice Room B, period 2 to tune up and review your pieces.
Violin students are to come to the music department, Practice Room A, period 2 for tuning and reviewing the pieces you will be performing.
Glee and Show students are to meet in the cafeteria period 2. You are to change into your outfits and then meet for warm ups, review and going over entrances and exits.
Students who are MC ing are to come down after homeroom to go over your scripts before going to your ensembles.

Thursday, December 16
 Band students are to stay in the music room through lunch and are to set up the stage during LTT.
Guitar, violin, SHow and Glee students are to go to their areas at LTT and prepare for performance.

Students MC ing are to meet during lunch.
Sound and Lighting Crew are to arrive during LTT.

Congratulations on a great concert Dec 1.
To our Glee and Show groups - congratulations on a great performance at the Tree Lighting in Douglas.

Christmas Concert
Music students participating in the concert are to go to the following areas:

Glee Club and Show Choir students are to meet and wait in the art room.
Guitar students are in the Conference Room.
Band students are in the main music room.
Violin students are in practice room A.

Christmas Events for the Music Dept.

Wednesday, December 1 -
NMS Christmas Concert.
All music students are involved. Students are to arrive by 6:30 - show time is at 7pm.

Tuesday, December 7 -
Northside Tree Lighting. All choir students are to meet at the Douglas Baptist Church parking lot by 6:15pm. Please find Mrs. Ross and the Parent Committee Members to get your white scarf.
